Foppapedretti – Gulliver Clothes Airer Natural (Made in Italy)
The Gulliver foldable wooden clothes airer by Foppapedretti is adjustable based on the amount of laundry to be hung. When not needed, it closes into a very small space, taking up just 14 centimetres… and also remains standing on its own!
Gulliver has at least 27 metres of bars for drying clothes and, thanks to the independent front and side arms, it opens up according to the amount of laundry to dry.
The frame is in solid wood, but there is also a version in painted white aluminium which is suitable for outdoor use. Gulliver is easy to move around thanks to the scratch-proof sturdy braking castors and the rods in painted aluminium make it tough and durable.
Six coloured “Clothy” pegs are included in the packaging, to store in the handy tray placed on one side of the clothes airer, and these can also be purchased separately.
Gulliver is available in two variants of material: the classical wood frame in the colours solid wood, wenge and canaletto, or in white painted aluminium also for outdoor use.
The strengths of the Gulliver are:
– 27 metres of usable bars to hang out your laundry
– solid and stable: even when closed it stands up on its own
– when closed it takes up just 14 centimetres and “folds away” easily even behind doors
– the independent side and front arms enable you to open it based on the amount of laundry to be hung
– can be moved around easily thanks to the scratch-proof castors

This clothes airer is absolutely amazing. I bought this a few weeks ago from Victorias Basement for use in my new apartment so have only just got around to opening it to use on my balcony. It is so well built, as solid as they come and just so much room to hang clothes. My adult son called around recently for a stay and even he was impressed with the stability of this airer. It may be expensive, but seriously worth every cent. I had previously seen one set up in my daughters mother in laws place and that was years ago and I hankered after one, but never really had a reason to buy one when I had a perfectly good clothes line. This is definitely the Rolls Royce of clothes airer. Can see this outlasting me!
